How to work out the maximum capacity of you rooms:
- Measure the length and the width of your room
- Multiple the length boy the width to get the square metre measurement of the entire room.
- For example if your room is 4m long by 3m wide. 4m x 3m = 12m. Your room is 12 square metres.
Update: Monday 29 June, 2020. Please note that as of last week Friday June 26, 2020 the Federal Government of Australia our forward a recommendation to drop room occupancy from to 2 square metres per person to 2 square metres per person. Thus far the states of Tasmania and Western Australia have started practicing the 2 square metre occupancy rule. Other Australian state continue to observe the 4 square metre rule for now.
